Actually, at this time last year we were still under the thought of him being by himself and being in the hospital....

It all worked out for us in the end, we got a better coach out of the ordeal. And Jeff Long cemented himself as one of the best ADs in the country. All in all I'd say we came out on top.

I do remember thinking (hoping) it was a bad April fools joke at first. But screw that pos, no matter what happens down the road with BB- I will always think he deserved to be fired.

Absolutely! Bielema has already made me thankful we've gone through what we did. Our dignity is intact, recruits that wouldn't have bothered looking our way are coming on unofficials in droves, there's positivity on the hill, and most importantly we're getting back to a style of football that we've been successful with in the past.

You idiots are already touting "2 beez"

Watch his offense fail, along with his defense before you praise the man

Wishful thinking, did you even see the Big 10 championship? Offense won't be a problem with Burt Beeftits.

I don't believe the bike story is all true either. I've heard things from friends in the athletic department that lead me to believe the arse kicking story is closer to the truth.

I remember someone did a blog post or newspaper article pointing out the all of the injuries, tire treads, and angles involved in the wreck and matching them with his version of events. There were lots of things that didn't add up. I always wondered if more would come out. I also wondered if this is why no one would hire him except Western Kentucky. He fell far.

You're kidding right? I'm not going to debate whether Bobby should have been fired. I don't think he should have been fired for the affair itself, but using his power and connections to get her a job was definitely a fireable offense.

However, I don't necessarily know if we got the better coach out of the deal. Bielema is a good coach, but apart from his recruiting prowess and connections, I don't see any area in which he's significantly better than Petrino.

We aren't better off due to this ordeal. We've recovered quite nicely from the incident, but only time will tell if we're better off.
