An historically bad program cannot beat teams like LSU and Alabama without cheating. So when high profile recruits suddenly want to go to Oxford, we will know there in no way that happens without illegal activity.

Made that point in a different thread. Outside of Rich Brooks' moderate success, Kentucky has been caught cheating every single time we've been worth a damn since the Bear left.

To be fair Alabama can't be Alabama without cheating.

The same statement could be made for every team in the league.

OM can't get sloppy over the next 3.5 years, but we'll do whatever it takes to continue on the current trajectory.

If you think ole miss and uga are in the same league "cheating" wise then this delusional rabbit hole all of you are in goes way, way deeper than we all thought

I didn't mean OM and UGA cheat to the same extent... I mean we did get Tunsil and Nkemdiche.

I don't believe that other schools are committing academic fraud. I do believe that the loaner car stuff and similar level 2 and 3 infractions occur elsewhere and that it's not all that uncommon. JMO but I'm a cheatin' bear with my head in the sand.

Ole miss has no chance to keep up with the real powers of this league and they know who they are. Too much of a difference. They will get blown out in bidding wars if they ever want to go that route. Ole miss isn't elite. They need to deal with reality that they are outmatched in every way possible by better athletic depts.

So it only costs 16k for ole miss to beat Bama and LSU? Sounds like a good deal

It depends on how much trouble they get in with the NCAA. If they can get a slap on the wrist like LSU, Oregon, and OU they will have some momentum going forward.

Or the traditional powers step up their game in the cheating department. OM is fricked, either way.

This was proven way before ole miss. SMU is the case study of how to get attention. Middle of the road team with no history, no sound infrastructure, average fan support and little in the way of funding suddenly starts piling up Eric Dickerson, Harvey armstrong and craig James type players. It's gonna get the NCAAs attention.

How sad. Bama can talk themselves up without dick riding Ag's and Bears.

As I said in another thread, Mr. Emmert has finished tallying up your bill yet...but he's coming!

Good Point. Maybe Tom Brokaw wouldn't have thought you so DUMB if he knew how SMART you have to be not to get caught!!! Next year Tom might direct his "Your so STUPID" comments toward Ole Miss.
