A Suggestion For Alabama Football

Why doesn't Alabama take their football and just leave the SEC and let the rest of us alone. Go independent like ND was or is.:) Seriously please win your next few games so as not to let LSU's defeat go in vain. That was some beating!

Bama carries this league on its back. It would be nothing without Bama

24 SEC titles in 82 years of league play. 29% of titles by one team. Who else has dominated a league like that in sports? NY Yankees are the only others that compare

You're just salty because Bama beat our arse. I would hate for Bama to leave the SEC. It wouldn't be as much fun anymore because there wouldn't be that one really good team that everyone strives to beat.

Do all Tiger fans a favor please. First, remove LSU from your User Name. Secondly, burn all of your LSU gear that you have if indeed you have any. Lastly, go away with you tail between your legs.

Because the SEC wouldn't be shite without us.

Maybe you could have a hunger strike until Alabama leave.
Then just before you die, the football players will go to the commissioner with tears in their eyes and Alabama will be allowed out.
On second thought that would only work if you wanted Missouri & Pinkel out of the conference.
Sorry to get your hopes up.

USCw has won 36 conf championships out of 99, not including the 2 that were vacated, for 36%.

Why get rid of Alabama?
Their recent success has nothing to do with the school - it all has to do with Nick Saban. Take a look at their record post Bear Bryant...Bama sucked pretty hard for a long time.
No one gave a shite about Bama until Saban got there. Once Saban leaves they'll be back to mediocrity for a while. We're nearing the end of his run there.
It's funny when you think about it - Saban could literally go to ANY school in the SEC, and start winning within 2-3 years. It'd be hilarious to see him go to Vanderbilt and win championships there

They should've dominated that weak conference. 80% of the talent out west is in Southern California. You could say they've underachieving.

So Bama never had any success before Saban?

In our programs history, we've had 4 coaches win multiple national titles, and another win only one. It's a beneficial symbiotic relationship.
The most beneficial thing Saban has done, beyond the championships, is he killed the Good Ol Boy network. Our athletic department is run like a professional organization now. With a nearly unlimited budget for assistants and support staff. What coach wouldn't want unlimited resources to win?
You gotta have a good coach to win championships. But he needs proper support to make it happen.

Yes, Alabama sucked. From 83-06, there were only 3 SEC Championships, 1 National Championships and 8 10-win seasons. How did your team do?
