Many of you are likely familiar with the famous hit Chad Jones "gave" to Joe Adams in 2009.

Pictures and gifs of the hit make it appear that Jones was quite the badass. However, a closer analysis reveals an entirely different picture.

It is true, that Jones' head-to-head hit against a defenseless receiver was in fact illegal, and deserves no more praise than Marquel Wade's hit on Vandy's returner. But that's not what I'm interested in today.

I invite you all to watch the full video of "the hit". Here's my breakdown of the play:

-At the :08 mark, you can see the hit occur.

-Only 7 seconds later, at the :15 mark, you see Joe Adams return to his feet.

-At the :25 mark, you see Joe Adams walking around. He appears to be fine.

- :29 - :39 you can see Chad Jones crawling around on the ground, clearly shaken from the impact.

- At :49, Jones is finally up, though appears somewhat confused.

Noteworthy: Joe Adams later on this very drive would catch a touchdown pass to put Arkansas in the lead.

Rumor has it that even to this day, on Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium, you can find Chad Jones crawling around in a bitch-like fashion.

In fairness to the swine, I will likely be putting up a post in 2018 about the horse collar that wasn't on JFF vs Auburn.

not even comparable

Wade is a tPOS, Jones is far from that.

Years later and your jimmies are still rustling.

"but that's not what I'm interested in today."

You have failed to address the crux of my thread. I take this as an admission of Chad Jones' bitch-ness.

If you know anything about Chad Jones, most importantly his days since he left LSU, you'll know that "bitch" is a word that doesn't have any business being in the same discussion as him.

Oh I forget, this is an Arky flame thread.

Flame on my man.
