Wow. I can't believe someone from that school actually accomplished something on their own merit as opposed to riding Daddy's coattails.

Ah, I remember freaking out the headmaster at JP a few times whilst picking up my girlfriend after school my senior year of high school. Even asked me somewhat politely to leave as they weren't used to "my kind," which in all honesty was probably a fair assessment back in those days. Fun times. Now I'm a prof at Ole Miss; what a weird world.
And I actually think it's pretty cool to have a local boy at my alma mater.

Y'all are going to have to run all those bitches with daddy issues away from every I-75 exit between Tallahassee and Gainesville. Stricklin is uber religous and won't put up with that shite.

Maybe he'll appreciate the anti-abortion billboards every two miles.
I-75 doesn't run from Tally to Gainesville by the way. You have to get on or off 10 in Lake City, noted bastion of progressive-liberalism.

I won't be. To be completely honest, I really only keep in touch with a handful of my classmates now. I only invited, I think, 4 to my wedding. I haven't lived in Memphis since high school, so that has a lot to do with it.
