How do Auburn fans feel about all the love from the national media?

I think they will definitely be one of the top teams, but there were significant problems on defense last year. I am assuming (like everyone else) that Muschamp will get them going in the right direction, just don't know if it will be as immediate.

When you look at the list of odds, every team has some sort of flaw, so even with questions on defense I think AU belongs. Just wondering if y'all are as high on the 2015 squad as everyone else.

Some AU fans will answer differently, but I always prefer the positive attention.

Its easier to start near the top and get in the playoffs than to start at the bottom and climb your way there.

That's a more reasonable expectation than what most Tenn fans have been talking about

Thread isn't about Spurrier. Stay on topic.

5Dimes must not have seen that SDS article where that one english major thought UT was a dark horse this year. Terrible research before posting the odds, IMO.

Thread was never about Tennessee. We were just on your mind. Which is fine.

After being dominated year in and year out for the last 100 years in all sports, I understand. Really, I do.

Everyone loves an underdog. With that being said, I think most Auburn fans realize that AU will never be considered truly elite until we start to meet the high expectations with on the field results. I like the idea of starting at the top and taking everyone's best shot.

The way Tennessee fans have been talking so far this offseason, you would expect Tennessee to be on the list in the OP. That is why I asked the question.

Most fans? Or Phat Phil and Serreanux.

You know, coming from you, one of the most disliked guys on this forum and the LSU equivalent of Phat Phil and Serrenaux, that's rich, breh.

When it comes to this I am more of a nega-tiger and don't like it. This is due AU normally shitting the bed when great things are expected of them. Whereas when everyone discounts the Tigers, they normally kick arse.
