5 stages of grief for the SEC West fan.

1. Denial- HAHA! Saban went 7-6 in his first year at Bama, he won't win anything.
2. Anger- Why did that son of a bitch have to coach at Bama???? F him
3. Bargaining- Maybe he will go back to the NFL.
4. Depression- Bama goes 14-0 and wins the NC.
5. Acceptance- This should happen after the 2010 season.

I really don't believe that the majority have accepted it yet, I believe they will after this season though.

It is possible to compete with Saban over a season. There are coaches that can do it. Maybe not a bunch, but we just happen not to have one at LSU. The thing many LSU fans don't realize is Saban is still building even though they just went undefeated. His teams will get better not worse. There will be other Urban Meyers (who is a very good coach with 2 NC Titles) and Sabans come along in the next few years. There are good coaches who always come along every few years. Teams in the SEC just have to keep an eye out for them. At LSU we have to decide if 2nd place every year is good enough for us?
