Since the early season topic was "every SEC West team would win the SEC East" I just thought we needed a late season update. These are the SEC West teams that wouldn't have won the East: Texas A&M (Lost to Mizzou), Arkansas (Lost to Mizzou and Georgia), Auburn (lost to Georgia) and Ole Miss and LSU (Got stomped by Arkansas who just lost to Mizzou)

West is the better division but seriously overrated. Miss State is 10-1 in that division. They would have struggled with the east but they got Vandy and UK

We'd have gone 5-1 against UF, UK, USC, Vandy, UT and Georgia ... and 1-1 against OM and Bama. 6-2 record, good enough to win the East.

That is exactly why AU would win the East. That is pretty much the way it works. Lose to Georgia and just wait on them to drop some crazy games.

Know this: there is no SECE team that could finish in the top half of the SECW this year.

Mizzou and UGA are better then Arkansas(Proven), A&M(Proven), LSU(Shut out by Ark), Ole Miss,(Shut out by Ark), Auburn(Lost to A&M @Home).

No way in hell LSU would have won the East this year...don't get me wrong LSU is a great program, but they simply aren't a great team this year.

Florida kicked the shite out of UGA on a neutral field..UGA beat your arse at home..LSU beat Florida in Gainesville.

See how easy that was?

No East team would have been in the top half of the West huh? Did you see the LSU game against Arkansas? Did you see the Mizzou game against Arkansas? Ditto for same thing with Ole Miss. Add Mizzou's wins over A&M and Arkansas and I think we can safely assume they would have been in the top half of the West. Personally I think Georgia is probably a better team than Mizzou, Mizzou just gritted out the season out better, so I know the Bulldogs would also finish in the top half
