I still can't believe Alabama landed 3 of the top 5 recruits in Louisiana.

I can't believe we landed a top-10 class considering our play on the field.
Bama is really good, and we had a major coaching change.

Not that hard to believe. Saban has created a machine and it's hard to fight against it. The fact he still has connections in LA only helps.

We had a big surprise in Bryant today. But the gap is widening between us and Bama. And now UGA is kicking our arse off the field as well. Solid class but you can see why we aren't thrilled.

Still finished with the third best class in the SEC
That should scare the rest of the conference. LSU is at a point where the top talent can leave the state and LSU continues to bring in elite classes

Very happy with the class. Losing M. Wilson at the end of the day was a little bit of a downer but signing two top ILBs so late in the recruiting season as well as Chaisson was huge, especially after losing Mosses and Allen. Harris was a nice late get as well. Oh, and we finally signed not one but two very good QBs. Very nicely done by O and the staff in their first year.

Bama, UGA, and LSU had 50 of the ESPN top 300. AU has clearly had the toughest recruiting situation as far as the talent teams we play every season are stockpiling. I am amazed we have two natty appearances during the last decade and we continue to an admiral job. That said, this cycle we got absolutely crushed by UGA in the state of Georgia. We have got to be much more competitive and can't make this an every year thing or we will be in trouble.

Yep. Kirby locked it down. Bryant is the only big time guy we got. But I'm not sure how highly ranked he was in the state. We usually do pretty good in GA historically.

Nobody will be scared of LSU until they get a legit QB.

shite, LSU didn't even recruit half of them.
Orgeron came out gunning, saying he was going to recruit Louisiana first, and he slow played half the top players in the state.
