How many Bielemas can you squat. They should really just change the rating system from pounds to Biels

Three of our D lineman put up 705 and the coaches stopped them from putting more on.

strong squat is way more useful in football than a high bench press

Not necessarily for a D lineman who has to mostly use his hands.

IIRC Bama didn't let T-Rich go over a certain weight. I'm not sure I'm a fan of letting players go too high. Even if they can lift it, I'd be worried about injury. Keep in mind it is very impressive, and Mack is gonna be great, I'm just saying I hope he doesn't get hurt and miss games because he wanted to see how much he could max.

Add him on to the immense amount of talent already on that Aggie defense and look out.

I understand football, you just dont pay attention to football. Yeah that first explosive step is important but what you do with your hands is what makes an elite DT/DE. How do you think youre suppose to shed blocks? By drop kicking the OL?
You have to use your hands to create separation between you and the blocker. When shedding blocks your legs only help you shift your weight, your arms are taking the heavy force.
Apparently yall didn't play football.

mickey johnson isnt quick or powerful enough. strength doesn't equate to power on a 1 to 1 scale, either your born with it or you aren't and you won't really develop a lot of power if you weren't born that way. you'll just get strong.

i think mack can squat "700"(probably 765), but he just does it more than a couple times. regular olympic bar holds 765 i think.

hell, years ago when stephen magee was qb he could squat over 600. i'm 190 lb joe shite ragman, and i can squat 505 for a rep. not that big of a deal.

Watch out.
