What an overrated conference. Pathetic performance by the SEC

UF get knocked out? (ah i see now) Yup was pretty funny when you consider all the threads a month ago saying the SEC teams were going to run over the rest of the conferences.

What an overrated overreaction to the moment.

You realize Miami went 2 and done as well right?

This kind of thing happens in baseball.. My goodness. It's Omaha..

Is this about baseball? Coz I don't give two shits. One shite maximum. I can only conjure up a single shite that I am willing to give away, freely. Not two. That's too many.

Exactly.

Louisville was really the team many felt would take it all.

It's baseball and it's just one season.

It's not an SEC thing. None of the other national seeds are left standing.

Being a national seed is great and all, but it has hardly been a predictor of success over the last 10 or so years. In the last 10 years, only 55% of national seeds have made it to Omaha. In the last 5 years, only 40% have done the same.

Meanwhile, the SEC has sent at least 2 teams to Omaha 8 times (80%), and an SEC team has played for the national championship 8 consecutive years, winning 4 times. If anything this year is the statistical anomaly.

I Just looked at all the scores of the CWS. Its sad how pathetic offenses have become at scoring runs. OSU wins back to back 1-0 games? Holy boring.

Good pitching in a huge ballpark will do that.

Miss State lost 2 games vs Zona by 1 run, the second in 11 innings. It's just baseball.
