Leave the swamp kittens alone. It's too early for this.

What about Scoring Defense, after all isn't that what matters? I will wait for you to post that statistic.

Actually, I was told 3rd down and chavis is what mattered.

As far as scoring defense. You've allowed 20 pts/game and we've allowed 23. Not that big of a difference

Was thinking about this ongoing flamefest while I was watching the replay of '95 UF v UT last night. Watched Florida start it's comeback with two drives that they converted 4 or 5 3rd downs over 8 yards. A couple over 15 yards.

Just thought it was cute.

They ended up giving up the most points in Vol history, and it could have been worse.

Not a troll: How has the aTm defense been this season? I see they've given up quite a few points to some teams that would be considered inferior to most SEC teams. Were most of those garbage time scores?

Auburn scored more points in 60 minutes against LSU than they did against Jacksonville state

We've looked better up front, still have some issues to work out. Yeah we had players with no names 9n their jerseys in the game against Ball State and mostly 3rd string in against Nevada after the half.

We've been subbing a lot to get game experience very deep into the roster

Our defense against asu is the only defense worth considering at this point. And it was spectacular.

Yes.

Ball state we were up 49-3 at halftime. We started played our entire bench the second half(minus the redshirts). Walk-ons were getting playtime on D.

Same thing with nevada except a little later. We started putting in 2nd string sometime at the end of the 3rd quarter but not quite to the extent that we did with ball state.

I think we'll find out that arkansas will do very little on offense next week. Our D is a really really good pass defense and their O has nothing to combat that. The biggest critique is our run D which is not the run D of last year. We shouldn't have problems against arkansas' neutered run offense but when we get to bama/lsu, that will change. The good thing about LSU is that they still only have the run and if they try to bring any semblance of a passing game, it will be easily stopped. Fournette is what chavis has to scheme against the week prior.

I'm sure 99% of ranters would agree......Auburn/Miss St > Ball St/Nevada

Let's see how bad Dak rapes Aggie up the middle before we start posting meaningless stats.

Also..... LSU has 8 sacks vs SEC competition. We had 1 sack in 3 plays vs McNeese that don't count cause the game was cancelled.....

Forget third and Chavis........

He needs to worry about first and Fournette

So you're not football savvy enough to know that when you're annihilating your opponent going into the fourth quarter you give most of your starters a rest?

That's on you.
