According to the article linked below...

#3 Notre Dame

quote:

Notre Dame was primed for a breakout season in 2015. They have the talent, the coach; all of it. That was before their week 2 contest against Virginia.

#2 Texas A&M

quote:

Kyle Allen has looked pretty good at quarterback, but after that, who’s been overly impressive on this team? The running game has been good but not great (by college football standards) and the receiving corp doesn’t present anyone that is frightening. On defense, what will happen when they play those tough SEC squads? They’ve played well so far, but that could change once the schedule gets tougher.

#1 Auburn

quote:

Despite a 2-0 record, the Auburn Tigers could very well, and probably should very well, be 0-2. The Louisville Cardinals nearly erased the Tigers’ big lead in week 1 before a time management issue did them in at the end. Then what happened in week 2 was possibly the most shocking thing we’ve seen this season, as FCS Jacksonville State took Auburn to overtime before the Tigers prevailed. Their play has been unacceptable for a supposed upper tier team.

quote:

Even though they dropped 12 spots after their terrible week two win, the Tigers don’t even belong in the top 25 with the way they have played early this season. With the beginning of their SEC schedule and the LSU Tigers looming, we could see this team drop out of the national picture very quickly.

I love to roast the ags, but to be fair you can't be overrated when you weren't even rated that highly to begin with.

I don't think they're the best team in the SECW, but with that 9 game Texas schedule they'll exceed expectations-especially with Arkansas being sent to space

I agree that Auburn is overrated but this is a stretch. UL never even had the ball in their hands with a chance to tie the game. Saying Auburn "should have lost" that game is a little much

Yup. Louisville never really seriously threatened in the second half.

Can't the same generally be said for many of the teams who have won their first two games?

Captain Obvious deserves a thank you note.

Stopped reading here. Kirk is the real deal. Noil is the real deal. Garrett is the real deal. Mack isn't yet, but will be the real deal.

Their secondary sucks though.

ETA: Reynolds is also the real deal. I'm sure there are more that are the real deal, but they aren't real deal enough for me to think of off the top of my head.

real deal

How are any of those teams overrated? No one is saying anything about them now, they are what they are. Auburn may be the only one overrated because that's the only team who is actually rated top 25 who shouldn't be.

They're ranked 18th right now, so I'm not sure how they're the most overrated.

Article is a bit sensational. Auburn maybe should have lost to JSU, but not UofL. You could also argue against JSU Auburn was driving at will down the field before we laid it on the ground against JSU and the OT would have ended in an Auburn win like it did.

Calling Auburn overrated is absolutely on point though.
