Like it. Should be Saban's best secondary since being at Bama.

I don't think anyone would have much a problem saying Alabama has the best DB unit on paper this preseason. LSU's is very unproven outside of Donte Jackson.

No way Chubb should be 1st team based on his 2016. He hasn't had a 1st team all conference caliber season since 2014.

I agree. Outside a few games, Chubb wasn't all that great last year.

Only problem is there's not a whole lot of depth in that Bama secondary

Probably just feels like it because Auburn has had a seemingly never ending string of kickers Who are arguably the best in the SEC.
Also right before Carlson we had Cody Parkey and they sort of resemble each other on the field. Carlson is a little taller, but both have similar booming leg strength and are NFL caliber (Parkey made the Pro Bowl as a rookie). Carlson is even better though. If he keeps his pace then he cements himself as the SEC's GOAT kicker and probably has an argument for GOAT of all of CFB.
