Reverse Ohio State and Alabama and leave the same gap to Georgia and you also have national relevance right now.

I don't see how Clemson is ranked so high.

I dunno, bet they care about results on the field more than some mythical bullshite ranking that nobody is going to convince anybody else to change their mind about anyway.

and that's coming from somebody whose team is probably going to be drubbed by them for the next 10 years straight so I am not a fan by any stretch

Agree with the list with the exception of Clemson.

Who would actually want to coach in poverty stricken luziana?

What a terrible thing that would be to do to your family

Not reading through replies, but I think Clemson is listed so high because they have an AD that is 100% bought into winning T the highest level. They will spend however much they feel they need to in order to keep ahead of the rest of the pack. SC might not be the recruiting hotbed other places are, but Clemson is a short drive away from Georgia and NC.

PSU is immensely better job than UCLA. Auburn is also a better job than TAMU.

Look at the top 10-12 players in the state of Alabama, see where those players rank nationally, and see where they go to college. Bama shares state with AU, but most AU fans would agree that Bama wins those head-to-head in-state battles more often than not.
This has been the case under Saban, especially, but it's largely dependent on the coach and situation at the time. Even if Alabama gets six of the top ten to Auburn's four, it's still a factor in determining the best jobs in these kinds of lists. Honestly it doesn't matter anyway as the right coach can win at literally any of the top schools in the SEC.

TAMU > Auburn. all other details are subordinate to the fact that TAMU means living in Texas and Auburn means living in Alabama.

UF is the top job in the country. Location, Location, Location. The fact that they have a hard time getting it right, shows how incompetent their leadership has been over the years.
