YA Clemson won a natty...and good for them...but South Carolina is not a recruiting hot bed and the campus/school is very average.

Yes they just won a title but like the other poster referenced in the post before this one, SC isn't a recruiting hotbed and doesn't have a lot going for it other than the title.

I have a feeling this is about health of the program overall, and there is no one better right now.

What a terrible list.

Clemson isn't a top 15 job
Florida and Texas are top 5 jobs
A&M's resources ($$$) make it a top 10 gig
Washington above Oregon? WTF

Clearly the list was written by a millennial that can't remember before 2012.

247 sports needs to be careful before they become another rivals.

ETA: Full discloser- I'm a millennial, I just hate most of my generation.

You make a fair point as an adult looking at CFB and the recruiting thereof. However, you have to remember that the people being recruited ARE millennials who, for the most part, don't remember or even care about what happened before 2012.

I guess UCLA is ahead of AU because of recruiting position, but they haven't been relevant as long as I've been alive, so i'm gonna disagree there...

If Washington is paying as much or more than Oregon is for coaches, then I absolutely agree that Washington is the better job.

Washington is 100% a better job than Oregon

Oregon was solid under Brooks and Belloti aND Kelly's wizardry made them a national player, but they are not a traditional power and live and die with perfectly recruiting to a system.

Washington is a traditional power and has tons of very good players in their backyard and the ability to recruit elsewhere.

Why? Oregon has wayyyyy better facilities and have been to multiple national title games in the past decade. Washington was literally good for 1 year.

And it's on a lake in Seattle. Much better than on the river in Eugene.

So you think it's better college football job based around the closet body of water? I'm gonna keep basing my opinion on resources, success and pay.
