Who do you got?

While this might sound biased, the Georgia Bulldogs will be the most underachieving team in the SEC this year. Second year coach, young team, and Sunshine from "Remeber the Titans" at qb factored in, and I think way to much is expected from the Bulldogs this year. They will not win the East after upsets from USCe and Tennessee.

I would say A&M but I think everyone has figured it out that the A&M actually stands for "Apathetic & Mediocre"

Sunshine was a baller in Remember the Titans.

Florida because I don't like them.

With as many as LSU has to replace on defense and the everlasting question at QB, LSU is a strong candidate with respect to misaligned expectations from its fanbase.

It would be hard for us to underacheive this year. Nobody expects us to win more than a few games.

Yeah I agree. The only thing keeping me overly optimistic is stud coordinators.

Adams - Delpit
Beckwith - White
Godchaux - LaCouture

We'll be fine.

I'm thinking we will really be underachieving because I don't see how with this roster we make it to a bowl game...

White and Beckwith are about even, but Donnie Alexander is a big drop off from Duke Riley. Just watch the second half of the Florida game.

Delpit will be great, but he isn't starting. Even if he was, he wouldn't replace a 3 year starter and there be no drop off.

Between Godchaux and Lac, I'd take Godchaux ever time. LSU's defense will be great once again, but not as elite as last year.

I agree, history tells us that UGA will underachieve again. To be fair, anytime UF doesn't compete for a SEC/NC, then they are underachieving. They are the one program that has the biggest competitive advantage over any program in the league. Money, facilities, fan popularity, state population and recruiting base. They can not seem to get their act together as far as coaching is concern. If SOS and Urban didn't show up, UF would be the most underachieving Program in the history of Sports.

I pick Tennessee every year for this. And every year I'm right.

Duke Riley was no star before last season either.

It sure looked like Delpit was starting in the Spring Game.

Both Godchaux and Lac started as true freshman. I hardly noticed Godchaux last year tbh. Lac is a senior at almost 300 lbs.

I've been a big Beckwith fan since he saved our 2014 season, but it's pure negativity to not admit White looks more explosive.

Florida, Georgia, LSU, and Auburn are all viable candidates. Florida would be my pick though.

LSU is just fine on defense. You people need to quit with your mentality. Football is won in the trenches, and LSU's dl will be the best it has been in years. Most of the defense will have had a full year under Aranda. That alone will be huge.

Florida for me, I'm not sure why anyone expecting any improvement in them, team looks worse to me overall, specifically on defense which they've had to lean on for years. Talent just doesn't really seem to be like it used to be at UF. Maybe Zaire is just enough to spark the offense some, but it would be surprising if that offense was anything better than mediocre. I would expect another 4 losses at least from UF this year.

Either UGA or LSU

I wouldn't be shocked to see one of those two go .500 or below

And if Saban and Bear Bryant hadn't gone to Bama, they'd be Auburn.

If Cam and Bo hadn't gone to Auburn, they'd be Ole Miss.

You can play that game with everyone. Since the advent and proliferation of indoor air conditioning, the state of Florida has dominated collegiate sports, including football, despite the rest of the country having a 70 year head start.
