Grae Kessinger, UM......... .175 in 154 ABs. Why the hell did yall keep playing him?

Thomas Dillard, UM......... .206 in 142 ABs. Not much better. 4 home runs for the strongest hitter you've ever seen? Keep on developing, I guess.

JJ Bleday, VU.............. .264 in 159 ABs. Decent bottom of the lineup guy.

Carlos Cortes, SC.......... .286 in 168 ABs. 12 bombs, 41 RBI. Strong freshman.

Josh Smith, LS............. .290 in 214 ABs. Very nice. 800+ OPS.

Jake Slaughter, LS......... .258. Not as nice, but he liked to get hit by pitches so there is that.

Zack Hess, LS.............. 2.92 6-1. Most impressive.

Eric Walker, LS............ 3.46 8-1. Yeah, I hate that you such good young talent.

Best for last: Braden Shewmake = 1st Team All American, All SEC, and National Freshman of the Year.

Not nearly as much as he like striking out.

I was really excited for him, but he has managed to turn himself into my least favorite player on the team. It seems like he is an unproductive out 9/10 times

Stephan and Fletcher definitely came through. Gates and McFarland didn't quite have the impact I expected, but it was hard for McFarland to get much PT behind Spanberger.
