Might be the dumbest thing I've seen posted in a while.

I would hope 5/6 return in 2016...

Duke is a SR, he gone.

Jovon is a RB, a good season and he gone.

JJ blows up and has a 2010...he gone.

Mon Adams blows up and has a 2010...he gone.

Carl seems like he'd want his degree before he gone.

Tray probably will be here in 2016

I can easily see 4/6 gone.

Duke Williams, definitely, he has to.

Carl Lawson, I don't know, he really does seem like the kind of guy that would want a degree. His maturity is way beyond his age and he excels off the field as much as on.

Either way, I hope all of the guys do what they need to do and make a smart decision.

Depending on Treadwell's season he could go 1st round as well

Yeah...we'll have at least three first rounders (Treadwell, Tunsil, Nkemdiche all might go top 10), we'll likely get another in Connor, and could have a fifth in Shepard.

Nkemdiche, no. What has he done that warrants a team to use a top draft pick? Are we still basing his reputation on potential? When you watch Ole Miss, Robert looks disinterested and lazy on 90% of the snaps. He takes himself out of plays. Once teams put on the game film, I think he starts to slip.

It's sad because you believe this. Ban bet Nkemdiche goes in the 1st?

sort of surprised that Jonathan Jones (Auburn) has been rated as the #3 corner by 2 places (CBS and I can't remember the other site). That would put him as a fringe 1st rounder.

Montravius Adams is another one that could leave early. As well as Shon Coleman (IF he has as good of a year as the coaches expect and if he makes strides in pass pro)

So much optimism for defensive players that either stunk it up or didn't even play last year.

I think you are lucky to get two. Injuries and off-field crap happens all the time. Tunsil Nkem certainly will be favorites. If Treadwell comes back to old form he will have a shot too.

?

The only Auburn defensive players that were mentioned as 1st round possibilities were Monty Adams, Carl Lawson and Tray Matthews. Nobody knows where any will go in the NFL Draft at this point, or even if they will declare.

Tray Matthews didn't play in 2014, but he is already Auburn's best secondary player and started as a true freshman at Georgia. Carl Lawson obviously missed 2014 with a torn ACL, but there is no doubting his ability. Montravius Adams was a very good player for Auburn last year and should only get better.

Where are the guys that "stunk it up?"

Is that Alabama's secondary? Neither Auburn nor Alabama have great secondaries, but Auburn's strength is safety and they have two good ones in Rudy Ford and Tray Matthews. Cornerback is a whole different story due to limited talent and depth.

If Alabama doesn't produce another extremely dominant secondary, it won't be for a lack of talent. There are currently five DBs that were rated a five star. The problem is they are all freshmen and sophomores. They lack experience right now.

We don't have a lot of depth, but I actually like our talent at corner. Easily the best group since the Tubby era by a wide margin.

Jonathan Jones- has track star speed and has shown the ability to make big plays. Didn't he lead the SEC in interceptions? He has good coverage ability, just needs to be consistent. One second he'll be locking down a good WR, the next play he gets burned.

Josh Hosley- good natural coverage ability. Can jump out of the building. Shown playmaking ability. His weak point is his height.

Stephen Roberts- has the size and natural skills to be elite. Just has to put it together and show it on the field.

I also really like Carlton Davis, the freshman coming in this summer. I think he'll get playing time this year

LSU will bring Vadal Alexander, Tre White, Travin Dural and possibly Jerald Harkins and Kendell Beckwith. Jalen Mills is a long shot.
