You have all that money but LSU still owns you.

Just goes to show you how these figures fluctuate. Alabama was over 1.2 in 2007. Fell to 800 million the last few years. Back up again.

So what you're saying is endowment figures don't equate to success in sports.

Who's getting the most value for their dollar?

Because football is the sole judge of the quality of a university. Solid post.

Why is your university so terrible at sports?

You have 22 times the endowment... And a record setting attendance for your newly renovated stadium... Yet you got worked at home in front of said record attendance crowd?

So the mississippi schools are doing a whole lot more with less? And you cant compete with your overpaid head coach and future overpaid DC?

If you're speaking of the endowment figures here, oil profits aren't either.

This thread is hilarious. Has nothing to do with football, but those who attended inferior universities feel the need to bring up football games to help cope with having pennies compared to the big boys.

Newsflash - endowment money can't be spent on sports, and success on the football field isn't the best indicator of the quality of a university.

Then why post it on a sports message board?

So why are you bringing this up in the sec rant....
News flash the Southeastern Conference refers to sports and athletics?

Why don't you go compare endowment sizes with The rest of Texas if you are feeling so insecure?

Why is there a thread about Aaron Hernandez on the front page? Why is there a thread about "your school's most embarrassing alum" on the front page?

'Tis the offseason.
