I believe this coaching job is up there with the 05 team after Katrina. Coaching in adversity.

It's not a stretch at all to think that TM could have been good for 6 points in either or both of the losses, whether preventing a score or putting up the points himself.

TM

The biggest disappointment to me. I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he bypassed going somewhere else and stayed enrolled in school Turns out he didn't learn anything.

When you're a talent like that (football, entertainment, etc.), unless you had a strong upbringing, you need someone in your life who can smack you around and tell you no and who has complete access to you.

For some reason, I always picture Lou Gossett Jr. As the perfect man for that role, no matter the person.

Lindsay Lohan, meet Lou Gossett Jr.

Michael Jackson, meet Lou Gossett Jr.

Amy Winehouse, meet Lou Gossett Jr.

It's a damn shame. The guy has a legendary season and then...

Only about 6 got meaningful pt. 3 were LBs rotating at the same position

The rest just covered punts and kicks on ST

you do realize that 6 freshman seeing meaningful PT is a really high number right?

Got one of those hypercritical questions for you winbamawin.

Lets say by the fourth game of the season bama has lost fluker, kouinjo and warmack off the O-line plus lacy on the offense and before the season even starts tide loses milliner and any LB of your choosing on "D" and then said LBs replacement after one game and then that LBs replacement after two games.

How do you think bama finishes the season?

I'll agree that Miles did a good job with this team this year. He should have beaten Bama though, but didn't. Was out coached for 4 minutes of that game...end of first half and end of game, but that is all it took.

What I would like to know is, where are all the "This team was built to win it all in 2012" proclaimers after the debacle that was the BCSNC game last season. It goes to show, when you have that oppurtunity, you had better put everything into it.

I am not here to rail against Miles, I like him and believe there is only one coach better. Just wanted to add my perspective.

Not disagreeing with you. I think Miles did a fine job this year through a lot of adversity but don't dare post this on Tiger Rant or you will be tarred and feathered!

Miles did a good job, but as has already been stated, Alabama lost 4 key players on offense this year and still produced the highest scoring offense in Bama history....

I think Cooper might prove the best WR in league next year. That kid is great. He has OBJ speed but hangs on to the ball.

OBJ had a sick catch over Belue against Bama, just needs a QB that can get him the ball. Most of Coopers yardage has been on play action bombs. I really wish Bama would go under center and run the ball/play action more. But, can't complain too much.

Could you please refresh my memory as to who those four key players were? Were they sr starters off last year's team? How many '12 offensive starters did the tide lose for any lenght of time this season?

Sure. Chris Black, Jalston Folwer, Dee Hart and DeAndrew White. Then lost Kenny Bell before the SEC Title Game.
