Because of the obsession shown by LSU fans towards Alabama in recent days, I thought it necessary to go back to the source of the disease which has been plaguing the LSU fan base for the last few years.

This game was really the end of an era. Notice how vanilla the Alabama offense seems. In the years since McElwain left for Colorado State, you have begun to see the Tide offense slowly transition into a more up-tempo, high-powered attack.
Can't really say the same for LSU. Their offense now looks the same as it did in 2011.

The rushing stats from that game compared to last years are errie similar
'12: 27 att - 39 yds - 1.4 avg
'15: 26 att - 54 yds - 2.1 avg
Les needs someone who can make quick mid range throws along the sidelines if he's going to compete with Saban.

I don't think it's mean to say this -- LSU fans are perfectly aware of how badly Les fricked up that game -- but when a clip video starts out with a kickoff return and then transitions straight to the punt without even bothering to show any of the plays between, you know things aren't going to go well for that team.
I stopped watching after that because I know how it turns out anyway and it was 21 minutes long.
