Out of the projected (Jrs and Srs) SEC players in the 2011 NFL draft which one will have the best NFL career?
Homer Pick: Patrick Peterson PP7

PP is the most sure thing here.
Then AJ Green
Then Julio
Then Reveiz (sp?)
I'd say Fairley, but only if he's drafted by a 3-4 team to play end. He relies on his quickness too much, and NFL guards will likely eat him up at 4-3 tackle or 3-4 nose. Defensive Tackles are so damn hard to project.
The guys I think are most likely to be busts:
Mallet
Newton
Dareus
Janzen

As long as Fairley keeps improving he is the obvious choice, he didn't start playing football until his senior year.

I would go with Ingram just because HB's rarely are complete busts. It is a job that most anyone with a good o-line can do.
After that I would say Patrick Peterson.
WR's are a huge risk so it is hard to say that Julio or AJ are sure bets.
Fairley should do well.
I'm not convinced Ziemba is a NFL caliber LT. Maybe RT. He could probably be a decent backup.
Cam is anyone's guess. Could be an excellent TE if QB does not work out.
Dareus reminds me of Tyson Jackson. Will be a solid player, but nothing dominant.
Mallett has a ton of upside. Has the skills to be one of the best, but I'm not sure he has the mental ability and work ethic.

I'd say Peterson. Great, shutdown conerbacks are a huge commodity, especially one with big size like PP. The reason I won't say AJ is because even though he's the best receiver I've ever seen, his frame is still somewhat thin. He's 6'4 205, which isn't small, but he just seems too skinny. I know there are others like that (primarily Randy Moss) who excel, but I just feel like he's gonna get knocked around a bit in the NFL. I do think he'll have a better NFL career than Julio though.
