Everyone acts like this offense was so terrible because of the NC game where throughout the season they killed everyone else.
4th in SEC in total offense
2nd in SEC in scoring offense
Do I think Les needs to adjust? Yes
Have his teams shown that they can score? Yes
Does he know more about football than everyone posting on this board?
Yes.

Richt knows offense too
Richt never had the defense Miles had in 2011, and he never played for a National Championship while at UGA.

Only two teams held them under 35 points all year - Mississippi State (19), and Alabama (9 and 0).
Extremely prolific offense that is somehow remembered as weak because of the last game.

Who was starting QB for most of those games? Who was the starting QB (and took all the snaps) for the two worst offensive performances?

They were awful in the SECCG too. That game was on the verge of being really ugly until Mathieu broke it open (just like the Ark game).
JJ actually threw for more yards on 1-9 (53) than he did vs UGA (30). Meanwhile the guy who was leading the SEC in pass efficiency never played another snap after the Bama game.
But we shouldn't question Les

Well, both times they played Alabama, the offense was completely shut down. They benefited from their defense forcing Alabama to taking low % FGs in the first game, leading to OT, but couldn't get bailed out in the second game.
The flip side of that is that they were even more impressive outside of the Alabama games.
40.9 ppg
386.7 ypg
The woes were a bit more prevalent prior to the NCG, however, as even though they managed 42 points against UGA, that was only on 237 total yards (and only 30 passing yards). LSU looks like it ran away with the game based on the score, but they were actually losing at the half and had no offensive scores until the defense grabbed a fumble in the 3rd quarter just outside the UGA redzone. The LSU defense and special teams won them the SECCG to be honest.
Against everyone else though, the offense didn't seem to have too many issues.

Oregon game too. They had under 300 yards of total offense.

This is true but that was 5 years ago. I don't think LSU fans are talking about the 2011 offense when they complain about Miles' offense.

I do. The offense was working because Lee was playing within himself. All of a sudden we run Jefferson out there, and if it's not for Mathieu we probably lose the SEC championship. His complete refusal to give Lee anything after the bama game will never make sense to me.

Worry about your own team dammit!

Why is everyone worried about LSU and Les Miles?

1. LSU was 6th in total offense per game, not 4th.
2. No one has ever said that offense was bad.
3. You will never see one person say that offense won a single game for LSU that year.
That offense was efficient, nothing more.

They were simply efficient, not necessarily good. More often than not they got set up with a short field because either D or ST made a play to give them great field position

The 2011 offense was extremely mediocre. You cant use points because the defense and special teams that year scored so much.
The offense gained 355 yards per game, that's really pretty bad. Every year since then our offense has been better than that.

The one that did not pick up a single first down in the entire first half of the SEC championship game? Then followed that up with 92 total yards of offense and zero points in the natty? That offense?

And Les benched that offense in favor of jordan Jefferson.
Who managed 0 first downs in the first half against UGA in SECCG, then the honey badger took over.
He brought that same offense into the Bama game and managed to do for 2 halves what he did against UGA the first half

That is a reason to be upset with him. He didn't bring that offense to the title game.
He caught Saban off guard on like 3 option plays in November, then decided that should suffice in January too after a month to prepare.
Meanwhile Saban completely adjusted his scheme and scored 4x as many points
If anything UGAs less talented 3-4 front in the SECCG should have been a red flag, maybe a tweak or two was needed?
Those 2 teams were even in November. The entire year their common opponent results mirrored each other, their game against each other mirrored each other.
1/9/12 showed what the ability to adapt can do, every year since has shown the same
