2011 Bama vs 2015 Clemson

Comparing 2011 Bama and 15 Bama, yeah 11 Bama is probably better. But it's a totally different set of match ups when talking about 11 Bama vs 15 Clemson than 15 Bama vs 15 Clemson

Same logic here:

2013 USC beat 2013 Stanford, so 2004 USC would route 13 Stanford because 04 USC was way better than 13 USC

However, 04 Stanford only lost to 04 USC, 31-28 (that was a shitty 4-7 Cardinal team). So surely 13 Stanford would slam the door shut on 04 USC and beat them.

I suppose 2011 Bama vs 2013 FSU is a better match?

2011 alabama is the best team of the decade, so far. they wouldn't have had too much trouble with florida state, in my opinion.

Maybe so, but the 2015 Bama team was the best team in the conference and that wasn't the case for 2011 Bama.

All I know is that Bama is in the SEC West. In 2011, Bama lost at home to another West division team that went undefeated. That other team thereby won the west and then went on to beat the East division champ in the conference championship game. That made that other team the 2011 SEC champion. Which logically means they were the best team in the conference. What about any of that do you not understand?

You took a logic course in Tuscaloosa didn't you? Where in my post did I say that a conference title is better than a national title? I said that Alabama wasn't the best team in the SEC in 2011. Somebody else was.
