If Arkansas wins that game is their an Arkansas Alabama rematch in the title game or was the rematch only possible if Alabama was the one left out? Your thoughts

Meh Arkansas didn't dominate every opponent like Bama and LSU that year

I doubt it. I think Bama wins the West in that tiebreaker scenario and then I think the voters would have bumped OSU up after they beat the shite out of OU. There wouldn't be any clamoring for a rematch of a 38-14 game

Allowing Bama in that game after getting beat at home was everything that is/was wrong with college football.

Who would've won the West in a 3-way tie that year?

If Missouri had beaten Auburn and FSU in 2013, we woulda been national champs

The LSU-Arkansas game was #1 vs. #3. Would it have been out of the question for Arkansas to jump to #1 had they beaten LSU?

I thought after Arkansas nailed our RB Ford causing him to fumble and it be returned for a TD that we were for sure fricked.

The consensus at the time was that Arkansas was too far behind LSU and Bama in the BCS standings for us to catch up even with a win.

Arkansas only losing 2 games in the SEC and they were by 24 and 27 points. Really puts into perspective how much better Bama and LSU were than everyone

Maybe. Especially since it was at LSU. Convincing hog win and I say yes

Would depend on how convincing the win was tbh. Close game and Bama is #1. Blowout maybe. I still have a hard time seeing them bump Arkansas over Bama with a 24 point H2H loss

I did too. I thought it was going to be a classic Petrino runaway. Nope.

Absolutely inaccurate. That Arkansas team was loaded and playing excellent football leading up to that game. There was a tragedy that occurred 4 days before the LSU game, and that team that showed up in BR wasn't the same team that had righted the ship since having their a** whipped by Bama, and was very flat. Don't think for a second that that Leslie Miles led LSU team with JJ at QB was head and shoulders above that Arkansas team, and sure as heck not in the same league as that Alabama team.

While we're truthing it up, never forget that Oklahoma State was a better team than LSU and should've been playing for that Natty.
