I love how less than 25 seconds into that video, Verne has already called the wrong player name.

Auburn being a participant makes it SEC-related I'm afraid.

Already thinking about which bama player he wants to 69 after the game

I hate the offseason.
Gumps gonna gump.
I bet he is wearing a bammer hat right now.

Nah, not really. Big SEC game. It isn't like we haven't had to hear about the friggin kick six or the 2007 game where LSU beat a mediocre Florida team ad nauseum.
With that said, THIS to this point has been the biggest single day in Bryant Denny stadium history. Legion Field has many but not BDS. That stadium was electric for an hour after that game. Never seen a Bama game more intense except for maybe the 79 Sugar Bowl or 92. Fans would not leave.
As for all the p'd off AU fans, we wouldn't have exploded like we did had your coach not been such a classless prick after every one of those 6 Iron Bowls. Never ever saw a coach sport t shirts and take victory laps holding up 3, 5 whatever fingers. Thank god our coach doesn't do those things. Total a-hole about the whole thing and it came crashing down on him in a big way that day. And beyond that it wasn't like he was beating "good" Bama teams. He was playing probation riddled teams. In 2008 when we were back to full strength, AU and Tommy knew it was over. That's why you shitecanned him.

Come on, man. Coach Bryant was constantly poking fun at Auburn while he was coach, and Fran ran around Jordan Hare after the 2001 win like a 12 year old boy.
I guess I'm the only Bama fan on earth that liked Tuberville. But I also shared a mutual friend with him and played golf with him a couple of times.

I don't really care that much especially to take my time making a youtube video of it, or any wins.

Hilarious, but typical for a bammer. When I think Iron Bowls, and when I talk about Iron Bowls to other people, including Bama fans, I think about all the great, down-to-the-wire games that have defined the series. 2012 (Kick Six), 1985 Van Tiffin--broke my heart), 1982 (Bo Over the Top), 1996 (Freddie Kitchens' best day), 1989 (first game in Jordan Hare, against an undefeated Bama team), and so many others. We are lucky to have such a great rivalry with such a storied history--most of the other teams out there don't have this kind of special game.
But you apparently think of this one--a 5-6 Auburn team coming in against a 10-1 Alabama team, which predictably whooped our backside. An Auburn team that had no offense after the failed Tony Franklin experiment.
Since it is such a big deal to you, congratulations on your big victory that year.

Seriously? Your school made shirts for your streak over the worst era of Bama football in the modern era. The "Fear the Thumb" game saw Aubrun beat a 6-5 Alabama team, and that later fired its head coach. Your fans are just a guilty as some Bama fans you're trying to criticize.

Kick Six was 2013 and Alabama was 11-0 going into the '08 Iron Bowl.
In hindsight it's pretty clear that Auburn was mailing it in and this was a dud of an IB. But going into the game this was the exact stage that many IB upsets happened.
It was still unclear whether Bama was for real or just a product of a few big wins and a down year in the SEC. Everyone remembers the Clemson, UGA, and LSU from that year but forgets they derped around with Tulane and only beat a 7-6 Kentucky team by 3.
Add to that Auburn had won 6 in a row, Nick Saban was 2-4 vs Tuberville up to that point, and Alabama had already clinched the West. An upset wouldn't have been very far fetched.
Was it the best IB? No, of course not. But it holds some significance, at least as much as 2007 does for Auburn fans.
And yes, as an Alabama fan I'm biased and having attended this game it holds a special place for me. To watch the complete destruction of your rival you haven't beaten in 6 years was a beautiful thing. My favorite memory of this game is during the post game when Saban was asked why he threw over the top late in the 4th quarter, his answer was, "That's the read on press coverage. If they're going to press our receiver we're going to throw over the top"
Oh and to completely negate everything I just wrote, I'm pretty sure the OP has been posting highlights from all the 2008 games. So. . . you ain't special little bro.
ETA: My second favorite memory is the fact that we lit a candle and passed it around our section after the win. Don't know why but it was hilarious

1987 has every Alabama game on his youtube profile going back to like 1988, wins and losses.
