John Parker Wilson passed for over 300 yards, DJ Hall racked up over 170 receiving yards, and Darren McFadden rushed for almost 200 yards in this instant SEC Football classic.

It was a classic, but it shouldn't have been. Alabama blew two 21 point leads.

I think it was in 2008 that Casey Dick threw the worst pass in history against Alabama. He tried to throw it away but instead threw a lob pass to nobody out in the flats and an Alabama defender caught it running full speed for a pick 6

Yeah that was Justin Woodall. Javier Arenas also had a pick-6 that game. Then Alabama lead like 35-7 at halftime. It was pitiful.

There is no excuse for DJ Hall not being an NFL Reciever. His laziness cost him big

This game exemplifies what Saban wants in a game manager QB. JPW nearly blew this game for Bama with his silly turnovers.

This was the first game where Bama faced some adversity and didn't quit since Stallings had been the coach.

The talent wasn't there but you could tell there was a changing attitude in Bama football.

I'll always love him for that. While not the most talented, we've had some tough qbs over the years.

And that pic of Houston Dale is so perfect.

That was the first game that we had hung with a good team and beat them them late in the game. Shula teams were very good at going up early only to lose in the end. I knew something had changed when I saw this game and I was in the stands with my son watching.

It was Saban's attention to detail and 4th qtr spring practice that made the difference.

You can make an argument that we might not win that game if he doesn't set that block for DMAC in the 2007 LSU game. My perspective on him changed a little bit. He seemed to give his all but he still was a terrible QB.
