Tennessee won, 38-21 in what surely was the last Tennessee-Alabama game ever played at Legion Field.

Oh, I fvckin remember.

It's one of the memories that will make Saturday awesome and fun and have me screaming for 70 points come the 4th quarter.

Mine was the 1973 game when Gary Rutledge faked a handoff and hit a W-I-D-E open Wayne Wheeler for an 80 yd TD on the first play from scrimmage.

It was 20 years ago today, that Sgt Manning taught the band to play...

Missed headline opportunity by OP. So disappointing.

I was there. My sister was at UA and I rode up with my parents for the weekend. My future brother in law passed me his flask in the student section. Only highlight of the night.

Either the 1995 or the 1997 game was unseasonable cold. I remember we stayed the night in Gadsden after the game on the way home and on Sunday morning there were snow flurries, which was unheard of that time of year.

But maybe that was the 1995 LSU game. Hell I can't remember I'm getting old.

EDIT : Found the facts, per Weather Underground

October 18, 1997

High : 66
Low : 41

6:50 PM : 56.5 F
7:50 PM : 55.2 F
8:50 PM : 52.3 F
9:50 PM : 50.0 F
10:50 PM : 48.2 F

And it was the 1995 LSU game. Knew it!

High : 54 F
Low : 30 F

8 PM : 41 F
10 PM : 41 F

Sitting in that south end zone, near the top, with a pretty good breeze. Yep, low-to-mid 50s felt pretty damn cold. That was my first semester at Bama.
