2 very small, heat related factors in the LSU v Auburn game that may favor LSU

To start, I just want to say that in all likelihood neither of these things will go into determining the final score. That being said, its gonna be hot as shite on Saturday @ 2:30 in death valley, and any relief from the heat will be vital to the players. Two things I was thinking about this morning:
1) Auburn will be wearing dark blue jerseys while LSU will be wearing white. As we all know, white reflects light while dark blue will be absorbing a ton of light. Those dark jerseys will be scorching hot as long as the sun is shining on them. Playing high school football in south LA, I can attest through scrimmages that our black jerseys got much hotter than our white jerseys. That being said, it was far from cool in the white.
2) If you haven't been to Tiger Stadium before, you will notice that the LSU sidelines are on the west side of the stadium while the visiting team is on the east side. This normally doesn't matter because most of our 2:30 games are in October/November, but 2:30 games mean the sun has not yet set in the western sky. As the sun sets, the LSU players will be able to find shade on the sidelines for the majority of the game. Meanwhile the Auburn sideline won't be shaded until an hour or so after the LSU sideline. I don't know exactly how much cooler the shade will be than the sun, but I do know its a noticeable difference.
Curious to see if more Auburn players will suffer from fatigue than LSU

I doubt it makes a difference. We had an 11:00 game last week in our blue jerseys.

We have cooled uniforms when not on the field, so dont see that big of an issue

Any impact will be negligible.

how'd that go?

Auburn is used to wearing blue in practice, along with White helmets, so they ;-) heads will be cooler than LSU in yellow...

This reminds me of the "stiff dew".

It gets hot in Alabama too. Most of the kids from both sides are from the south, the heat won't be an advantage for either side

I remember when the heat & humidity was supposed to be an advantage for us vs. USC in 2003.

Everyone knows this game is a guaranteed W for LSU. At this point, it's just a matter of covering the spread.

A win

if there is any advantage it will be negligible at best. all of these players are accustomed to playing/practicing/working out in the South. i hope neither team is effected by the heat, but imagine there will be some cramping and dehydration along the way on both sides.
