The mere fact that you correlate my comment with politics is a good example of why Forbes is a shitty magazine. I mean, if it were legit, why would you do that?

I imagine that most business magazines are run by Republicans, but they're not shitty. Politics has nothing to do with my opinion.

Is...is there something in the water at Clemson? Did the military use the campus as a testing ground for Agent Orange while reassuring y'all that it was just Spirit Week or something? Wait...I think I remember you. There was a Clemson fan here not long ago who was extremely insecure about the fact that nobody considers Clemson anything remotely approaching an academic powerhouse. That was you, wasn't it? You were hilariously obsessed with your e-dick and terribly anxious that people take you seriously

Why do you think anybody who goes to Clemson cares what you think about it? Who are you? A guy who uses expressions like 'e-dick' doesn't come across as more intelligent than any Clemson person. Nobody has to gush over Vandy or any other school, you are the one who thinks everybody has to think your school is the bees knees.

I can't see people in position at a company in which they hire other people chomping at the bit to hire graduates of Vanderbilt vs other schools, if the person doing the hiring did not go to Vanderbilt.

I'm open minded to Vandy, William and Mary and these other bees knees schools being superior to other schools like Clemson and NC State and Auburn. But provide some proof of it. Can you point to stats that prove Vandy grads make more than Tennensee grads? Or that Vandy chemistry grads understand chemistry better than Alabama chemistry grads? Can you provide evidene that all of the professors at Vandy teach the subjets better than all of the professors at Ole Miss? I don' think you can.

My opinion, people who graduate from good colleges don't argue by assertion. You are supposed to back up your assertions.

By taking the reins, this individual reigns as the worst poster.

i noticed that you didn't back that up with anything. You do ad hominem then say I'm the worst poster.

I get you didn't like my opinion that Athens isn't better than any other large state university town. No reason to take that personally though.

List is shite. Tech is a top 2-3 technical school. Only way they drop to 15 is if hot women are factored in. But then west Pointe wouldn't be #1.

I don't think you can prove Vandy is a better school. All you can do is assert it. And I don't think you have anyway of knowing how good colleges are that you did not attend. Who are you? What are your credentials to rank colleges.

don't get upset if people ask you to back up your assertions.

I'm pretty sure everybody but you knows Vanderbilt is a better school than Clemson.

Clemson is only considered a Premier institution in SC and probably only the Low Country.

It's a good school. But for the love of god stop trying to argue that it is on the level of any IVY League school. And W&M is one of the best Law Schools in the country.

So did you attend Harvard, Yale, W&M, et. al. since you are proclaiming Clemson to be a better school or on par with them?

Ben Carson is a brain surgeon. Carly Fiorina is a successful business executive. Scott Walker is successful governor. Ted Cruz is successful lawyer.

not sure how a party with Obama and with Hillary, Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden can talk trash about GOP. Joe Biden told a man in a wheelchair to standup so crowd can see him.

I don't have to prove a negative ie I don't have to prove Clemson is not on the same level as other universities that you have determined to be the bees knees. You basically say I have to accept your premise, even you have not prove it. You know nothing about Clemson, or any of these other schools you gush about. I don't comment on LSU academics because I know nothing about LSU and do not care about LSU academics. I see no reason to believe that LSU academics are not as good as Vandy's or Harvard's. I'm not sure why this would offend a LSU person.

Nobody cares what you think about Clemson. You cannot prove these other schools are better, you can assert it all day long but that is marketing, not proof.

I'm only talking about college at the undergrad level. There are only so many law colelges and I highy doubt you have any insider knowledge of WM's law program. Again, it is assertion, repeating other people's assertions.

I've heard people for years say Bush is dumb, is inarticulate, etc, and he went to both Harvard and Yale. GOre did not do well in his science class and actually dropped out of divinity school when he was trying to be a preacher. He was at Harvard. Kerry just did a deal with a state sponsor of terrorism. He went to Harvard or Yale. So these are nepotism schools. It is a country club for politican and other well connected wealthy people and their kids.

You seem to. You are the one on an SEC message board arguing that Clemson is the Equal of all other academic institutions in the country. I'm sure in your mind the world. I'm guessing Oxford can't hold a candle to that legendary Clemson education.

Good lord you are dumb! I hope you didn't get a degree from Clemson, or else you're all the proof needed that it's a lower tier education.

I never disparaged any university on here. I say some are overrated and overrated by people who know nothing about them. YOu haven't proven otherwise.

Post your resume if you are going to assert you are more intelligent than me. Why do you think people have to prove to you that they went to a university? Who are you? YOu full of yourself. You talk about things that you have no personal knowledge of. How do you know that x university is better than y university if you have no experience with either of them? That is absurd.

You and others are proof that advertising works.

It cracks me up some of you guys get so angry when all I'm saying is SEC schools and other schools are just as good as IVy League and other schools who claim to be the bees knees. Some kind of self loathing thing I guess.

Almost every stat ever backs this, and Clemson not being as good as those two schools up.

Average SAT score, average income for the same job, average income in general, average ROI, graduation rate, etc. Just because you don't know the stats, doesn't mean they don't exist.

post these stats about salaries that you are asserting. I don't think employers make public who they hire for jobs, what colleges they attended, if the college attended was the difference maker in the person getting the job, and what salary they get paid.

SAT scores are irrelevant to how good the college education is and how well graduates do in workforce.

explain how a W and M teaches chemistry better than another college. If I were to look at Vanderbilt professor reviews on the internet, would every professor get stellar reviews by the students? Or would their be a mix of good, average and bad professors as the students see it?

No one in the world outside of you thinks Clemson is a better school than Vanderbilt. You went to a run of the mill state school. Deal with it.
