ESPN announcers raved about this game while touting all of the SEC women's basketball conference as, by far, the best in the country.

#WatchESPN #SECNet+

Both of these teams could be in the Final Four come March.

The new rules, 4 qtrs, 5 fouls per qtr for bonus ... very interesting.

Gamecocks pull away at the very end - OSU is very good but SCAR took care of SEC business.

Jesus, Baylor blowing out UTA 60-19. Nothing like challenging yourself first game out.

Like you've watched enough WBB to make a fair judgement.

Not a fan of women's basketball, but I'm interested in any event where those disgusting buckeyes lose.

People on this board will laugh at women's basketball but will start tons of threads about a less popular sport and refer to it as part of the "big 3".

Sheeesh, their potential is unlimited. Made some bonehead turnovers, still have some timing issues but sheeeesh ... they are so deep. They have got to be nearly three deep at every position. Reminded me of some of the great Tennessee Pat Head Summit teams ... but they have a lot of work to do.

They opened tonight against #6 OSU and took care of business with an SEC pridelike performance. OSU was game though and they are very very good.

SCAR's schedule is just a beast. I'm going back to Honolulu for their tourney game there - leaving immediately after the Clemson game, then we've got a ranked AZ OOC game, a ranked Duke OOC game, #1 Connecticut comes to our place this year ... not to mention all the ranked SEC opponents.

This is going to be a great year to watch some serious women's basketball in this league Arksulli. Every team in this league can beat you if you are not careful. It's just incredible.

Ahhh sookie! Sookie!!

Our path to Indianapolis is one step closer.

Arksulli..Our FG percentage was meh..44.9% FT was 65.7% and 27.3% on our 3 ptr's.

Not our best game by far, but getting the kinks out and beating #6 at the same time would be considered a superb game by most other's standards.

Dawn Staley has us primed to win it all and that's what the fans are hoping for....expecting.

We have to get deadly from the charity strike if we are going to seriously contend for a national championship.

We gotta get better boxing out down low even when we have the height advantage.

Our high low passing game has to become pinpoint accurate ... no one can stop us if they'll do that.

They looked a little tight, I agree, but still won against #6 and I gotta say, OSU came to play. That Mitchell gal of their own has got to be one of the Top Five players in the country or else she played waaay over her head tonight. OSU actually has two really really really good players that could play for anyone in the country.

Mississippi State seems primed to have a big run this season as well. As for us... I like the Lady Razorbacks odds of making the big dance.

This should be a great year for women's basketball here in the SEC.

Think you will be seeing them again come tournament time? Maybe in the Elite Eight or Final Four?

Yeah ... it would not surprise me in the least to see OSU in the Sweet Sixten if not the Elite Eight or better. They've got everything in place to make a run. They are really very good. They were lights out from 3 but they can do it all, they really can.

I cannot stand anything OSU ... but gotta give them credit, they definitely came to play.

SEC Women's basketball is going to be INSANE this season. Off the charts. No easy wins, record setting attendance figures, stars everywhere. It is going to be insane. I mean we are going to see the women's game taken to a new level in this league this year.

Mitchell is a preseason All American.

I don't get the Ohio State hate but whatever floats your boat I guess.

You don't know why Southern folks don't like OSU?
