There are 5 teams that look like they might be good and 9 that look relatively pedestrian or worse.

Quit trying to drag us all down to Auburn's level.

And that's good and not great teams.

AU is a huge contributor to the decline of the conference, but we aren't alone.

Just because your team SUCKS doesn't mean all of them do

I'd there's 3 good teams that have huge flaws

A couple decent teams with no QB and a bunch of mediocre teams.

It does seem that most of the SEC teams have defenses, it's just an offense retarded league at the moment. Except USC and Auburn, they both look like trash.

Seems about normal to me. There are usually 4-5 really good teams, 5-6 average teams then the bottom of the barrel.

I don't know about pedestrian, but I will say that the SEC doesn't appear to have that team that anyone is scared of. Just good teams, not great by any means.

I think some people are struggling with some of the usual suspects at the bottom moving up the ladder and some traditionally good teams slipping.

There is some more parity in the OOC though.

You have something here.

It's not just the bad teams, we are not even dominating the smaller programs anymore and are having issues beating teams out of conference.

It hurts us on a national scale, for when it comes time to choose what teams make it into the playoffs, the SEC scale (when it used to be tilted in our favor) is more even now.

Last year began the trend, this year it is very obvious.

It doesn't hurt that we have some coaches in this league that suck.

What you talking about? The only bad teams are Vandy, USC, and Aubarn.

Bad or mediocre teams:
Auburn
Arkansas
Miss St
Vandy
Kentucky
Tennessee
Florida
Missouri
South Carolina

Still in the hunt with a realistic chance of making the playoff:
LSU
Ole Miss
Alabama
Texas A&M
Georgia

Truly elite teams that should scare OOC teams like the SEC's elite used to:

None

All that parity we talked about in the preseason is totally gone after week 4. There is a massive gap between those two tiers.

Coker was 17-31 passing with 3 TDs and 1 INT. To be fair, several of his passes were on the money and were dropped.

Bama's Defense held ULM to under 100 yards Offense.

That said, they have issues. None that can't be overcome.

I would say that every SEC team except for SC, Vandy, Aubarn, and Arky are probably Bowl bound so why are you ingrates bitching about? The SEC is still the best conference in the country.

The rest of college football is in the same boat. Times have changed. The days of true dominance seem to be over.

Arkansas, Mizzou, UT, Florida, UK are good in your view?

Not a marker of a good team. Lots of bad teams make bowl games.

UK may not be a great team, but they're 3-1 and are in good shape for bowl eligibility. Pretty sure that doesn't make them "bad".

Florida is undefeated. And getting better week by week.

As others have said, no need to drag us down to your level.

I mean define good. They aren't winning the conference, but I think they are pretty good, bowl bound teams (minus Arky, but Arky really isn't a bad team).
