Ole Miss might have a not horrible offense this year, maybe. But that defense last season was horrible. And it just lost some of its best players, so why should it be any better?
I'm assuming you have some rent a wins on the schedule but if Ole Miss gets to .500 that's a hell of an achievement. Your 2016 team actually had a good offense and some NFL talent on defense and fell apart.

Unless your players transfer, you'll win a couple SEC games this year. The next couple years after though are doubtful.

The Black Bears have an offense that can score points & presumably the interim HC, former co-OC, will run the same offense. Defense is another matter. But if the locker room turns into a train wreck & either transfers or rumors of transfers start, it could get ugly. Most of the staff will be looking, too. They need to plead mea culpa to the NCAA yesterday, find out what the sanctions will be & then move on. No coach or recruit will commit till they know what the sanctions are.
