$15 Million buyout for McElwain -- what was our Mississippi-born AD thinking?

Florida needs a clean slate, but now cannot afford it.
Get rid of McElwain and the AD, they're obvious butt buddies now given the AD gave McElwain that ridiculous extension this offseason because McElwain lucked his way into winning the SEC East twice in a row.
Can we borrow money from Alabama somehow? It would make the conference better -- it would be worth the investment.
And our Mississippi State fan AD, what the hell? Don't get me started on him.

The high buyout is put in place to eliminate knee jerk reactions from administration, boosters and fans. It seems to be serving it's purpose. Go Gators!

We can most definitely afford it.
It is paid at $2.5 million per year, it's not a lump sum. That's nothing for a school with an athletic budget the size of UF's. We did the same thing for Muschamp, his was just over $2 million annually.

He's won the east his first two years and you guy's are ready to get rid of him.

He gave him an extension of 1 year, and his buyout went from $2.25 million to $2.5 million annually. This is overblown.

The miles plan. Insert shitty coach and make it cost to much to get rid off. He's awesome y'all should keep him. Florida fans are crazy trying to get rid of that winning coach.

What he has done that you're not a fan of outside this 1 year extension?
Most people absolutely love everything he's doing and are huge fans of him, especially the big money.
