Loved that game.

Because as an Auburn fan, I had watched one of the best SEC teams in history get snubbed for USC and Oklahoma to play a snoozer in 2004. I knew the SEC was the best conference in the land and should have gotten more respect for that season.

So I cheered my arse off for Florida after hearing all about how Ohio State was a potential GOAT and how it should have been an Ohio State-Michigan rematch. I watched every second as Florida's team speed made Ohio State look like they were playing in slow motion.

Then I went on to celebrate with the rest of my SEC brethren as the SEC started to own college football in 2007, 2008, and 2009.

Then 2010 was Auburn's turn and you assholes turned on us. Didn't feel SEC brotherly love. Naw, not for Auburn.

So frick y'all. All y'all.

The real shocking part was that Florida looked very mediocre in the regular season coming into that game. It seemed like all of their games were one score wins. They weren't dominant by any means. And then they came out and laid a whooping on Ohio State. Same thing with 2014 Ohio State. They didn't look that great especially on defense the entire season and then they come out and shut out Wisconsin 59-0, hold Cooper and Bama's offense in check in the CFB Playoff Semifinal and throttle Oregon's offense in the CFB National Championship Game. Urban might be the bowl game coach ever. It makes the 31-0 loss to Clemson all that more puzzling.

Less than 3 months later we would beat them again for the basketball national championship.

I don't know about 2010, but I can just about guarantee every Florida fan everywhere was pulling for Auburn in 2013.

was it this game that Ted Ginn Jr got hurt by his own teammates after returning the opening kickoff for a TD?

One of my best friends said the same thing. But, he had to be reminded that Auburn cheated to get there. So, no brotherly love for you and your team in 2010.

The 06 title game was the official triggering of the OSU fan base. They still have not recovered. They are the easiest fan base in CFB to trigger.

I see the Clemson game closely resembling our 2009 SEC championship game vs Bama. Urban can build a team but he hasn't shown the ability to maintain one. He has either started over at another school or burned out (at UF).

I think he may have a chance to find a healthier work home life balance at OSU because I think in the end Foley was tough on him with all the trouble the players were getting into and our compliance staff is totally independent of the football staff. He has a lot more wiggle room at OSU in my opinion. Creates a lot less stress for a head coach when everyone is complicit.

Plus he was banging an intern and family life blew up. Nothing but ugly fat girls in Ohio.
