Half that list is trash.
The national champion next year will come from one of these 5 teams.

Bama
USC
Ohio St
FSU
Oklahoma

Clemson and Michigan lost way too much.

Don't know why LSU, Ok St and Louisville are on the list. They are all missing critical pieces.

I would have Penn St, Georgia and Stanford over those teams.

My list would be

Alabama
FSU
USC
Penn State
Ohio State
LSU
Stanford
Auburn
Clemson
Washington
Oklahoma
Oklahoma State

And yes it's 12 I don't know why you'd limit it to 10 anyway.

I like Georgia and think they'll be good, but I don't think they get through the season and win the SEC Title without 2 losses. I also don't think they will be good enough to win the SEC Title.

Not so sure Stanford belongs on that list although I agree that thUGA may have enough pieces to warrant putting them on the list.

Go ahead and remove the following teams from that list:

Louisville (no defense)

Oklahoma (weak schedule and conference)

Oklahoma State (see Oklahoma)

At some point somebody in the Big XII is going to go 11-1 and have to get in.

Oklahomas trip to Columbus won't help their cause.

Michigan people do realize they're losing basically their whole team right?

they are going to take some lumps before going on a tear in 2018

They're returning almost everyone from an actual playoff team

We are a year away from being on that list...
**We will start 3 new OL, although our line by the end of 2017 will be much better than our line in all of 2016.

**Still have some growing pains at QB

Jacknola that was very hysterical. You think A&M should be in over LSU? That is moronic...

They have no QB and have worse talent/coaching than LSU

LSU's defense will be nasty, the OL will be great, we have the best RB in the league, and are bringing in one of the best college OC's. There are no weak points on this team... Look at the last two QB's Canada worked with and get back to me. (Hint: they were QB's that couldn't cut it in the SEC and he turned them into NFL players)

should have beat Ohio St and the bowl game was wild. not all 3 loss teams are created equal.

that said given their roster losses I would expect them to be in the hunt for big 10 title and playoff right up until the game and then get shellacked. This result could be argued both ways in regards to their natty capacity.

washington should definitely be in the top ten. Louisville oklahoma st and LSU have done nothing in the past 4 years to merit such consideration. of course 5 years ago okst and LSU should have played each other for title so I guess just louisville needs to gtfo.

Have heard that for years and every time they face an elite defensive front they get manhandled.

What was hilarious was Arkansas still being ranked 25 last year going into the LSU game.

quote:

Derrius Guice rushed for a career-high 252 yards and Leonard Fournette added three touchdowns and No. 24 LSU improved to 4-1 under interim coach Ed Orgeron with a 38-10 win over No. 25 Arkansas.

One team, one. That's it. and the scheming has generally been terrible as well. LSUs OL was top 5 in the country last year. The issue is they are constantly run blocking Bama, which is physically demanding. I'm sure they're begging to pass block by halftime.
