Ryan Perriloux was in no way a bust. Dude won an SECCG and propelled LSU to the BCSCG. Shepard.. did a lot for LSU, but he didn't live up to expectations on the field. On the field bust, off the field success. Would sign another one in a heartbeat.

Kind of a stupid list.. it's more of a "10 SEC 5* recruits who were only good for a season or so"

Half of those guys were kicked off their teams in the first two years of play for off field issues. I don't think that's a bust the same way a Shepard or Chris Davenport is a bust.

How Burton Scott isn't on this list is beyond me. He was the #1 overall athlete in the country and part of Bama's dream team class of 2008.

Terrible list. Several of those including Russell Shepard were on NFL rosters this year.

Chris Davenport should be on the list, for now.

I don't think that guy understands what the word "bust" means.

Anthony Johnson (barring some monumental season) should be on that list over Dyer.

Dyer was the second best offensive player on an undefeated title team Not a bust by any definition.

Off field issues should be looked at like injuries as far as "bust" status. I think of a bust as a player that had every opportunity to shine but simply was not the caliber player as anticipated. Tray Blackmon and Tyler Love are the two that jump out to me. If the kid actually balled out on the field regardless of what they were doing off, then he's not a bust in my eyes.

Crowell? The hell?

He was hardly a "bust", he rushed for almost 900 yards as a true freshman and that was with missing a good bit of time due to injury. Sure he got kicked off and was an idiot, but he had a pretty damn good freshman season. In no way was he a "bust".

Marquise Elmore was a bust. Brandon Miller was. I'm sure there's a host of others. But I wouldn't say crow was.

I'm sure Russell Shepherd will look at this list, realize he's a bust, and not cash this month's NFL check.

This article is bad. I would say a kid was a bust if he played his 3 or 4 years with that school. I would not call a kid a bust for getting hurt or being kicked off a team or leaving a team on his own terms.
