Very possible. An East team isn't going to a NY6 bowl regardless of record. And if A&M loses to OM and Bama, you could make a strong case for at large.

IMHO it would take a lot of things going A&M's way to get in w/o winning the conference. Of course, if they're entertaining two B1G teams, then A&M should get the same benefit

I think it's going to be really difficult for any non-conference champion to make it. It would take a LOT of dominoes falling for that to happen.
If Clemson and Ohio State had lost last night, it'd be an interesting discussion.

If one of Bama and aTm finishes 11-1 then maybe. Both would likely make the CFP if one is 13-0 and the other 11-1. If one has two losses, it's doubtful but would still be a great season for Arkansas considering the RB and OL departures from last season.

It's hard to get in a good bowl at 7-5.
