frick UConn

Auriemma is a cunt

Blow them out by 30 if possible (although I'll take a 1 point SC win)

We're 22-0 when you don't start a game thread for us. No offense

Auriemma

You may not like him, but he's the GOAT. Basically, the Philip Jackson of women's basketball.

We've won 22 games in a row...and none of us are that confident about even having a chance tonight.

We're at home. Sellout crowd. So here's hoping. But frick...UCONN is on some next level shite

Don't get me wrong, he's a helluva basketball coach and recruiter. He's also a scumbag POS. Also he hasn't done what Pat did for the sport. He's more than capable of taking over the GOAT title from Pat, and his team is definitely good enough to, but his influence will never be able to equal Pat's, and in that sense, she'll always be the GOAT.

Pat's influence is huge, no doubt, but Geno is already the GOAT. That ship has already sailed.

I don't know why I never picked up on this before. Are they really lady gamecocks? Why not lady gamehens?

They were originally called the Pullets, then were the Carolina Chicks. Then in the late 70s they were changed to the Lady Gamecocks, but now they are just the Gamecocks, like all other sports....

That's really interesting. I didn't know that. I think the lady's sports should be gamehens. I'm surprised Missouri's SJW army hasn't demanded that concession yet from your administration.

There wouldn't be a Geno without Pat, she single handily made womens basketball what it is.

Personally as for myself: we lost by 25 pts in their house last season, and I truly am concerned that we'll lose by more than that tonight in ours.

But you never know: maybe our sellout home crowd will unnerve them just a bit, while pump ours up considerably, and some role players for us have a season-best performance tonight. And maybe that might be enough to keep things tight, and keep our team positive and with confidence, and then who knows at the end.

That's what I am hoping for - I'd LOVE for our Gamecocks to beat UConn tonight - but we'll have to see.....

There wouldn't be anyone that could hold a candle to Pat, much less surpass her if Geno wasn't in the game. 10 titles, 21 conference titles, 20 tournament titles. Not even Pat can boast of a resume like that. Not only that, but Geno did it when Pat was still at the height of her prowess.

I don't think we'll lose worse than we did last year. We're a better team and were at home. It certainly can happen, and I'm definitely not predicting a win or that it'll even be close. I just don't see us losing by THAT much

I will give him some credit, but ESPN has done lots of heavy lifting when it comes to recruiting for the Huskies.

:kige:

Pat, is and should be the GOAT even if Geno has better ending numbers.
