This is the Wally Pontiff Classic that was rained out last week. We were supposed to play USM but their schedule did not allow for rescheduling so we picked up southern and will be playing them again tomorrow night @ The Box

And we started Moore at 3rd, Stevenson in CF, Barrish at C, and Mccune finally saw the field and started the game and got 3 innings of work, and got to rest 3 of our starters at said positions. I assume next game we will start almost the entire second team

I'm telling you, Lsu defense is one of the best out there. Make the hard plays look easy and the easy plays look juvenile.

If gausman were a little younger and had to stay for his junior year this team would be one of the greats of all time. So much speed in the OF it is so exciting watching the plays our guys make on what seems to be a daily basis. I really hope they keep this up and I have no reason to believe they won't

I really think Bregman and Katz playing the way they have been sparks the team, everyone looks like they have been having a lot of fun and playing really loose. Hell, even jacoby and ross have been stroking at the plate. When we played MSU they said we got lucky hits and depended on the longball. 4 series later we are still doing the same thing and definitely not letting up
