? For Bama and Au fans

Has the pressure of carrying the conference over the past 6 years ; Bama in 09/11/12/14* and Au in 10/13* finally caught up to the teams players coaches and us fans? Heading into the off season it looks as though it will be up to Bama and possibly Au to once again carry the load for the conference on a national scale.
I hear from our rivals that it is good for college football and the SEC when new blood rises up or when multiple teams are all in contention to win it all. But even though we hear this talk it seems only the teams (Bama and Au) from the great State of Alabama can make it to the big show anymore.
Now I'm not saying that I don't want Bama to be the best or win the SEC every year and etc but maybe some of these other "all talk, no walk" teams should start to help carry the weight a little more if they are going to ridicule, belittle and bash our teams when they get there but don't finish with the 1st place trophy.

That, plus we have better coaches, players and support. Basically we're just better than the rest. Not trying to be a snob but sometimes it isn't avoidable.

Its really all ya'll have down in the armpit of the country. The only escape from that state is to try to run, throw, jump and kick your way up and away from there through sports.
Of course the downside being you have to get the local politicians to pay attention to their areas and not lil Nicky's crotch. At least long enough to change that cesspool of an area into something more than a giant waffle house/trailor park with two college football stadiums being the shining example of architecture there.

This isn't the Landmass. There is no State of Alabama alliance. And if there were, that "alliance" would be 0-4 in bowls over the last two years, so any smugness like this thread falls a bit flat.

Agree with that but it still doesn't change the facts that Bama for the most part and Au have carried the conference for the past 6 years. That's a huge burden but one Bama will relish and has never been afraid to take on. But the also runs need to stfu until they actually accomplish.

Have you been to Alabama before? There are parts of the state - like South Carolina - that are unappealing. However, there are parts of the state - like South Carolina - which are quite appealing.

It's kinda sad really, I preferred his smug arse attitude personally, now he just seems like a beat down sad little boy, who probably works with a bunch of lsu fans and for a bunch of Ohioans.
I mean if you refer to his response to me you will see for yourself that he is just now in the recovering defeat stage atm.
