It's definitely that. Even liberals are admitting now that Biden has dementia. So, they're doing this to appease those voters with concerns... "Hey, it's cool... Obama is really still running the show and you don't want that meanie Ol' Nazi Trump to be President again, do you?" And with black people, definitely... "Come on! Vote for the black President again." They truly are desperate AF. They can't fix the election this time as blatantly as they did in 2020 with the cover of COVID and now people are on to the other ballot counting and harvesting shenanigans they pulled, so those things will be much more scrutinized and documented by poll watchers etc. They have to have more legitimate votes this time and they know it's not looking good.

If bringing out Obama quells the heartburn that is currently in the black community over illegals getting their funding they want, their community assets, and social disruption they are enduring…. I’m sorry… they will then deserve to watch the illegals take over their communities.

It's the same reason people do endorsements. Republicans who are campaigning in strong Trump areas seek his endorsement and get him to campaign with them.
