Trump ally Sidney Powell defeats appeal in Texas attorney ethics case
Basically the finding is that you only act unethically if you knew the claim was bogus and brought it anyway.
If you honestly believe in the claim (even if mistaken) then you as an attorney brought it ethically.
The court basically said that the bar did not show that she knew the claims were bogus.

You mean all the attorneys that try to defend people that are easily guilty don’t get disbarred? You mean every frivolous BS lawsuit doesn’t get the attorney disbarred??? I didn't really make too many personal judgments. I told people to wait for the process to unfold and many told me it was too corrupt to trust.
