Korean War Memorial
"The Forgotten War"
I was in DC back in 2006 visiting the monuments and accidentally found this memorial kind of out of the way. You see all the other war monuments that are really nice, attract visitors and taken care of, but this one grabs me for some reason.

I can't even imagine the sheer horror and terror 9/11 victims felt either being in New York City or on the planes that day.
Knowing there's an excellent chance you were going to die no matter how far and fast you ran from ground zero as the towers crashed down had to be so fricking terrifying.
Just imagine being one of the building jumpers that couldn't get to the stairs.
