You know, if they REALLY had a problem with it, they can simply not go to them you know. It isn't like they are bound to go anywhere in particular.

I'm missing 3 in a row
week 1 Bama Clemson
week 2 Miami @ Florida
week 3 Ohio State @ USC
week 4 LSU @ Auburn
week 5 Bama @ Georgia
week 6 Ohio State @ Wisconson?
Week 7 will probably be Texas Oklahoma or Penn St Wisconson not LSU Florida
anything past week 8 is a wild guess

that would really suck if they didnt go to the game with the past 2 defending national champs in the best conference both ranked in the top 4.

They can see LSU Florida at the end of the year. Texas Oklahoma or Penn St. Wisc. is a one time show.
They're a national show, and those games will play just as big a part in the NC as LSU Florida round 1. Assuming everyone wins and no one gets shuffled, it's a 1 vs 5 red river rivalry vs 3 vs 4 game that might get played again vs Big 10 championship game bottom of the top 10(if wisconson already knocked of OSU)
regardless, that's going to be a hell of a weekend for great college football.

what big matchup in the SEC is next week where gameday would go to it?

Killing whom? Surely not the company that just agreed to shell out BILLIONS of dollars to televise SEC football games over the next few years. They will be creaming their pants over the money they'll make by promoting the hell out of anything SEC.

There are none
Kentucky at Alabama (2:30 p.m. CT / CBS)
Florida at Arkansas (11:30 a.m. CT / Raycom)
Auburn at Vanderbilt (5 p.m. CT / ESPN)
South Carolina at Ole Miss (1 p.m. CT)
Northern Illinois at Tennessee (7 p.m. ET / PPV)

And has no clue what else is going on the week we play Florida... The SEC is the best show in town, but it ain't the only show.

They're a national network hoping to attract a national audience. Sure, they've got an interest in promoting the SEC, and they've been promoting the hell out of it. But if they just completely ignore the rest of the country, they risk losing some of their audience. It just so happens that the biggest matchup of the year in the Big XII and possibly the biggest matchup of the year in the Big Ten are on the same weekend as one of half a dozen epic matchups in the SEC. I won't be surprised, or particularly disappointed, if they decide they can miss one huge SEC game in order to be there for the only huge game of the year in the Big Ten or one of only a couple in the Big XII.
Using today's rankings, the only top ten vs. top ten matchups left in this regular season are the following:
Oklahoma vs. Texas
Texas vs. Missouri
LSU vs. Florida
LSU vs. Georgia
Florida vs. Georgia
LSU vs. Alabama
Alabama vs. Georgia
Texas Tech vs. Oklahoma
Texas Tech vs. Texas
Five SEC games and four Big XII games. They've done two SEC games already, and have a third this weekend. The biggest game of the year in the Big XII (regardless of the fact that Missouri is currently ranked slightly ahead of Texas) is a reasonable choice for that weekend.
