He was courted by Mal Moore, but asked for a week or something to think about it. The word was that his wife wanted to get to the west coast. A week was an eternity for us, Mal couldn't wait, and wished him the best.

i'm the most anti-big ten person there is on the face of the planet.. however i think penn state is not getting enough credit so far this season..

on the contrary.. i still believe they end up losing to Ohio St and that they will eventually be overrated.

His uncle was Hayden Riley who was Alabama's head basketball coach in the 60's before CM Newton and then head baseball coach in the 70's before Barry Schollenberger.Riley was also Bear's head recruiter in the 60's and 70's.

He is first cousins with Major Ogilvie.

Yeah Penn State is awesome because they beat Oregon State. Stanford should be top 5 too.

You certainly know your Tide history. I'm impressed with the nuggets you dredge up every once in a while.

I-59...that is some solid info right there. Damn good stuff I for one, didnt know.

Penn State, should they blow out the Juice and co Saturday, will be the next media darlings (if Bama doesnt win).
