Make them #1, I would love for LSU to beat a #1 Bama team.

Talking to an LSU buddy on the phone and he said that if we win Saturday, that is 2 wins over top 10 teams and one that is ranked higher than LSU, he sees us jumping LSU.

I'll tell you what, IF Bama wins, we should be ranked above LSU.

Extremely unlikely. LSU gained lots of style points with the Auburn win. If the media had seen Lee play like that last year, we would have been the highest SEC ranked team anyway. Their words, not mine, so it isn't really that homer of a call.
Perhaps if we play horribly against MSU, but if otherwise, I wouldn't be suprised to see LSU pick up some of the lost USC points. USC was the common ground...now they lost the votes will be scattered across the board.

I don't know about that. Beating Clemson, @Arky, and @UGA would be a better resume than either UF or LSU has.

i can see your logic but i really dont think even if they do beat jawja they will be ranked ahead of us, just because clemson has proven to be such a frick up.... i tink the post above has it right
