Winner of Auburn/LSU has represented the West in the SEC title game last 8 years. I read this everywhere and it is true but it kind of drags LSU down a little bit.
This is how it should go:
In the last 8 years when LSU wins the Auburn/LSU game they represent the West. Auburn screws it up and doesn't represent the West half the time when they win this game.

although we royally screwed it up in '02 in the last seconds at Arky. The other one that used to piss me off was the "SEC has won 6 out of the last 10 College World Series"...when LSU had 5 of them

Yeah, people ought to note that LSU has won the West twice as many times as Auburn since 2000. Arkansas gets no love.

in the east this doesn't occur, because we have three good teams, and the last three east champs have all been different.

Even as an Auburn fan I've always wondered why this was said. I guess Arkansas doesn't get any love for never actually winning the SEC Title

Well at a place like Ole Miss, they don't have very many things to brag about, so they claim the co-title as something to be proud about.

True, but the SEC West has won more of the SEC Championships since 2000.

Yeah, Tenn was great last year. I guess that's why I kept seeing Richty crying on my tv in Dec.
I wouldn't be suprised if it happened again.

I don't think Les was crying about being in the BCSNC, but I could be wrong. He may have petitioned to play in the sugar bowl against Hawaii...
But I do remember Richt, whan whan we're the best team ever, whan whan.
We didn't win our division, but we are playing better than anyone right now.
