I keep wondering how much longer the Clemson faithful are going to settle for Bowden's mediocrity.

I agree Bowden is sucking it up. Like the poster said earlier, i think the pollsters fricked bowden b/c they shouldn't be ranked that high anyway. I see them going 7-5, maybe 8-4 like normal. Seeing how the ACC is plenty weak this year, they could win more. ACC blows this year. Wake Forest may be the cream of the crop this year. GT could suprise as well.

Unless they pull out a losing season or something, he'll be coaching at Clemson since he just signed an extension in the offseason.

Tommy Bowden sucks but if he gets to the ACCCG he's money and this is still VERY possible.

I dont think they could have won this game anyway, but damn could have kept it close

The Bowden bowl always had a nice ring to it, too bad it won't be happening much longer. He is being handled very soundly by Alabama. No solid adjustments made, a touchdown return is all they have in the second half that has looked positive.

What will happen is Clemson is going to probably run the table, with maybe one more, at most 2 more losses, in the weak ACC. They'll start looking like world beaters and probably creep back up in the rankings. Its the same as always, they'll still be overrated and will still lose their bowl game if they play anyone decent, or from the SEC.
